Guided Hikes
For individual or group hikes, SEARCH adventures can bring you up into the mountains safely and ensure you have a really enjoyable walking chalenge.

Wet Bouldering
Also known as "ghyl Scrambling, or sometimes as gorge-walking, this is a fun exploration of a rocky stream with wet and dry rocks to climb over, pools to splash in and even jump into deep pools from a height. Adventure to everyone's preferred level of excitement & participation!

Scrambling / Squirrelling
Exploring a boulder-field. Climbing over, around, under adn through small "caves" formed by the boulders, as the group makes it way up a mountainside.
Learn to Navigate
Learn how stay safe in the hills even if things dont go to plan.

Map and Compass
First learning how to match the ground near you to the features on the map. later adding in how to use a compass

Night Navigation
Whether planned or not, being able to safely navigate back to your car or base if it gets dark is a vital skill.

Dealing with fog
Fog can descend on the mountains even when the skys are otherwise blue. This also brings cold. Being able to navigate when you cannot see is vital to getting home safely.
